Lance Cpl. Brian Bell, Marine Corps body bearer, carries a ceremonial wreath to the grave marker of "the Grand Old Man of the Marine Corps" Brig Gen. Archibald Henderson for the 235th birthday of the Corps, Nov. 10, 2010. Henderson remains the longest serving commandant the Corps has ever seen. Marine Barracks Washington Marines spent the morning honoring those previous commandants whose graves reside in the metropolitan area.
