Body Bearers with Bravo Company, Marine Barracks Washington, stand at the position of attention during a full honors funeral for Brig. Gen. Donald H. Brooks at Arlington National Cemetery, Jan. 29, 2020. General Brooks, a Turlock, California native, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1944. A career infantry officer, Brig. Gen. Brooks served in both Korea and Vietnam during his 30 years of selfless service. Brigadier Gen. Brooks passed away on Oct. 19, 2019 at the age of 97.
