The United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon performs during the Evening Parade at Marine Barracks, Washington, D.C., Aug. 12, 2016. The guests of honor for the parade were Vice Adm. John Aquilino, deputy chief of Naval Operations, Plans and Strategies, Rear Adm. Linda Fagan, deputy commandant for Operations, Policy and Capabilities, Lt. Gen. William Mayville Jr., director of the Joint Staff, Lt. Gen. Joseph Anderson, joint staff deputy Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen John Raymond, deputy chief of Staff and Operations, and Maj. Gen James Witham, director of Domestic Operations and Force Development. The hosting official for the parade was Lt. Gen. Ronald Bailey, deputy commandant for Plans, Policies and Operations.
