Lt Col. Justin Dunne, Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., Executive Officer, performs during an evening parade, Aug., 28, 2015. U.S. Marines Sgt. Jonathan W. Patrick and Lance Cpl. Kyle F. McDonald were the guests of honor for the parade and Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., 36th commandant of the Marine Corps, was the hosting official for that same parade. The Evening Parade summer tradition began in 1934 and features the Silent Drill Platoon, the Marine Band, the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and two marching companies.
