The U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon preforms during an evening parade at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., July 3, 2015. The Honorable, Dr. Jack Dyer Crouch II, CEO and president of the USO, was the guest of honor for the July 3 Evening Parade, and Lt. Gen. Mark Brilakis, commanding general Marine Corps Recruiting Command, was the hosting official for that same parade. Evening Parade summer tradition began in 1934 and features the Silent Drill Platoon, the U.S. Marine Band, the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and two marching companies.
