Lance Cpl. Angel Cruz, a Marine Silent Drill Platoon member and native of La Puente, Calif., performs a rifle spin during practice in preparation for the Battle Color Detachment’s upcoming performances in the local area at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Feb. 28, 2012. SDP, the U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps and U.S. Marine Corps Color Guard, compose the BCD and all are Marine Barracks Washington-based. The BCD is scheduled to commence its National Installation Tour at the beginning of March.
