Richard, sergeant major of Marine Barracks Washington, break ground during the P-158 groundbreaking ceremony at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., Nov. 19, 2025. The new facility will feature 125 Bachelor Enlisted Quarters with added amenities such as a gym, cooking and meal preparation room, a Single Marine Program lounge and more. This project is part of the Marine Corps Barracks 2030 plan to improve the quality of life of Marines through meaningful near-term and long-term investments in barracks across the Corps.
