Marines with first platoon, Guard Company, Marine Barracks Washington D.C., executed a "surprise" training regimen at Johns Hopkins University, April 27, 2017. The training promotes team leadership, unit cohesion, and physical endurance. The regimen, designed and executed by the university's Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Jay Dyer, consists of challenging workouts designed to condition Division One athletes prior to NCAA playoffs and national championships. Upon completion, the Marines were invited to tour the Johns Hopkins Lacrosse facilities in addition to watching the Varsity Men's Lacrosse practice. (Official Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
