The guests of honor for the evening were Chief Warrant Officer 4 Hershel W. “Woody” Williams, World War II Medal of Honor Recipient, Col. Harvey C. “Barney” Barnum, Vietnam War Medal of Honor Recipient, and Cpl. William K. “Kyle” Carpenter, Global War on Terrorism (Afghanistan) Medal of Honor Recipient, and the hosting officials were the 38th Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. David H.
